III International Scientific Conference “Teaching Greek: Methods, Innovations, Perspectives” (Moscow, October 7–8, 2026)
On October 7–8, 2026, the Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology, Faculty of Philology, Lomonosov Moscow State University will host the III International Scientific Conference “Teaching Greek: Methods, Innovations, Perspectives.” The conference continues the tradition established in 2024 and aims to bring together scholars and practitioners working on theoretical and practical issues of teaching Greek in various educational settings.
Thematic sections of the conference:
The conference will be held in a mixed format. Possible forms of participation:
Working languages of the conference: Russian, Modern Greek, English.
Presentation time: 15 minutes per paper, followed by 5 minutes for discussion.

Participation in the conference is free of charge. All travel and accommodation expenses of the participants are to be covered by the sending institution.
Following the conference, full texts of the papers (as scholarly articles) will be recommended for publication in the journal “Department of Byzantine and Modern Greek Philology” (indexed in RISC, ERIH PLUS):

You will receive notification of the Organising Committee’s decision on the inclusion of your paper in the programme no later than September 15, 2026.
